Due to the slow nature of the hippo and difficulty with holding inventory of full kits, only one “BlueHippo Kit” has been made and unleashed upon the world. There have been a couple in the works that will hopefully see the light of day soon.
However, there have been some other kits made for other projects. One of my favorites was for a kids cyclocross project. Getting to see kids braap dirt in a BlueHippo kit is still one of my favorite things I’ve done!
After the BlueHippo Woolly Whispers kit did so well, Panache asked me to make a design for them. I made a bunch of patterns using their logos and here’s how it turned out:
Ruckus Racing asked me to do their team kits for them. I think they look great, but the people are so good looking, anything would look fiah.
Brian over at the ol’ Streamline Cycles had a deal where he would get some kits made for free and asked me to whip him up something. He’s all about the pink.
Green Monkey Velo hit up the Blue Hippo and asked for a Texas kit, YEEHAW. Spattered with the shape of Texas, Lone Stars, and armadillos, this kit will be coming soon to a Texas shop near you!
